The owners of the New Frontier Group, Profinit and Cogent have agreed to proceed with bringing the businesses of Profinit Slovakia s.r.o. and Cogent Slovakia s.r.o. together. Profinit Slovakia s.r.o is specialized in information management and data management solutions while Cogent s.r.o. is specialized in business intelligence, performance management and business execution solutions. Combining now both businesses and competencies under the common New Frontier umbrella will bring direct benefits to the customers as well as operational benefits for the business execution. The shareholders of the companies have also agreed that Radovan Cechvala, who joined Cogent s.r.o. few month ago as Sales Executive Director, will be promoted to General Manager of the combined company that will be rebranded to New Frontier Slovakia.

New Frontier Group is a CEE wide IT solutions company offering consultancy and IT solutions & services across a wide range of competencies such as software development, ERP, Business intelligence, CRM, Data management...

Since the acquisition of a majority stake in Cogent s.r.o in October 2008, New Frontier Group has a majority participation in two operating IT solutions company in Slovakia

• Profinit Slovakia, a fully owned subsidiary of Profinit Czech Republic
• Cogent Slovakia

After having started throughout 2009 to leverage first synergies between the two companies in Slovakia such as sharing office space, working jointly on common accounts and sharing resources for project delivery, the shareholders of all companies involved have agreed to go further with the integration and combine fully the businesses of both companies. Hereby the main integration steps:

• Profinit Slovakia is to be renamed to New Frontier Slovakia and will remain as the primary operating company as well as the market name going forward
• Radovan Cechvala will be promoted to General Manager New Frontier Slovakia, with full responsibility for all business in Slovakia
• Cogent Slovakia will be maintained as legal entity as long as required to continue to support existing clients and corresponding contracts

For Cogent and Profinit clients this change will bring direct benefits as:

• New Frontier Slovakia will operate as single entity, offering the competencies from both former entities Profinit and Cogent to the customer base
• New Frontier Slovakia will have the combined team of both companies, as such client will work with the same client management and delivery team as before
• New Frontier SK will be a 60 people strong IT solutions company with plan to reach around 100 people within coming 12 month, as such representing the largest IT solutions company in Slovakia focused solely on information/data management and business intelligence/performance management solutions

In addition the rebranding to New Frontier Slovakia is the first step for New Frontier Group to promote the “New Frontier” name on a formal basis on the CEE market. With operations in 8 countries across CEE and around 1000 people within the New Frontier Group companies, NFG is already among the largest IT solutions players on the CEE market As New Frontier Group continues its successful expansion across CEE countries, there will be further steps to strengthen the New Frontier brand.
